E + F

This blog post is brought to you by root glen, a rain dance, + cold Guinness.

This engagement session was rescheduled about 4-20 times but when we finally made it happen, my LAWD did we make it happen! First thing Erica says to me "I don't know what I'm doing and I am super awkward in front of the camera."

Well she most definitely fooled me because not only did she rock this shoot, but Frank? FRANKS GOT SOME MOVES YOU GUYS.

We started off the day strolling through Root Glen trying to find the best little light pockets and admiring the scene. All of a sudden I get a Dark Sky (weather app that alerts you, minute by minute  and if you are a photographer, I SERIOUSLY recommend this app) notification for a severe storm warning starting in 15 minutes. I'm like, "ohhhh we're fiiiiiine it doesn't even look bad"

Well, we weren't.

It started DOWN POURING and the closest shelter was a little gazebo. So at this point it's legit torrential down pouring but I said to this amazing couple, "get out there and dance, y'all good with Frank Sinatra Radio?"

AND THEY WERE AND THEY DID & I LOVED IT!

So after the rain stopped, we got the umbrella (hahahaha of course) and explored the beautiful Hamilton College Campus. (I got a foot away from a squirrel, not pictured haha!) We are all hungry at this point (and thirsty) and decide to make our way into town.

We head over to Alteri's and get not only wings, calamari, and mozz sticks, but PIZZA AND BEER TOO.

COULD THIS EVENING GET ANY BETTER? Well, it did guys. The more and more I talk to Erica & Frank, I saw how similar we are. Movies, our humor, OUR LOVE FOR CATS. We then became best friends and did karate in their garage.

So Erica + Frank, I want to thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart for letting me into your love. I cannot WAIT for your WEDDING!
